LCT Picon is a sans serif font-family. The typeface offers 27 styles distributed into 3 widths (Condensed, Normal and Extended).
Its extended alphabet and features make this big font-family? ideal for all usage; print, web, app, etc.
We have concocted the Picon Project with many savorous ingredients :
- An observation of our urban environment;
- Wanderings within a naval heritage and along an estuary.
- A special attention for old signs and enamel plates. We were especially inspired by ones of a known beer brand.
To fill our well-read appetite, we also studied very carefully the big font-families from the beginning of the 20th century; the Gill sans, the Franklin Gothic and the condensed versions of Futura.
We finally put these different constituents together along with our typographic expertise to cook up the LCT Picon, a well seasoned typeface to use without moderation.
